The Swedish participation in the LC districts project has taken place within Småland and the Islands and Linnaeus University. The project has involved a mapping of structures to support sustainable construction and a path towards less climate impact from the built environment. The results show a need to connect different actors and use of the academies, to increase competence at different levels for clients, managers, executors and to have an understanding of each other’s tasks. Furthermore, the need to set requirements and measure and follow up is shown.
In order to take the results further, the Linnaeus University invites for further discussions after the seminar to connect the results with the national roadmap work for comparison and make a plan for continued activities from national to local level where the Linnaeus University hope to play a role.
